Roll up the Rumpelstiltskin file again with us! For the question rightly arises here: Who is actually the bad guy or even the bad gal in the end? In this exhibition tour, we will examine typical role models in well-known fairy tales such as the "Brave Little Tailor," which have a lot to do with our sense of justice.
The Brothers Grimm also dealt with the law and created a foundational work with their "Deutsche Rechtsalterthümer" (German Legal Antiquities). Where do well-known proverbs like "break the rod" come from and what secret meanings are hidden behind shoes or keys?
In this overview tour through the special exhibition, follow in the footsteps of the studied jurists Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. Learn more about their many connections with the topics of law and justice - whether as critics of absolutist ideals or as two of the "Göttingen Seven". And discuss with us current debates in which there is more than black and white.

Arrival |
On arrival, participants are requested to wait outside the GRIMMWELT building until the tour guide has registered the group at the cash desk and paid the entrance fee. |

Ticket |
Before the group enters the building, the tour guide will be given a sticker (instead of an individual ticket) for each group member. These stickers must be displayed visibly on group members’ clothing. |

Bags, jackets, coats, etc. must be deposited at the coat rack or in a locker. |

Alighting point |
Visitors arriving by coach should head for the coach stop Brüder-Grimm-Platz (satnav destination: “Brüder-Grimm-Platz”). From the coach stop, follow the signposted pedestrian route to the GRIMMWELT (approx. 4 minutes). |

Parking |
There are no parking facilities for tourist coaches at the GRIMMWELT. Coach parking is available at the Naturkundemuseum/Ottoneum at Papinplatz (satnav destination: “Papinplatz”). The GRIMMWELT is approx. a 15-minute walk from there. |
